to bring some added life to the cemetery , the clan.
in the center of the church spaceanother one of London's beautiful Victorian cemeteries. was not much awrae of this one until our friend Pippin suggested it. we didn't live all that far but it was tucked away so as never to have been noticed when driving through Southwark in previous adventures. Nunhead felt much more airy and open and rolling then abney park or highgate which always felt more like entering the shrubbery and vines and distancing from the outside world. Like Abney this cemetery has a hollowed out church at the centre but unlike abney it appears the church is still used despite it's rootlessness, the centre still fit for memorials , perhaps more so without the roof.
